Scunthorpe United have mascot packages on sale for the 2015/16 season now. Your child can enjoy a day to remember!
Mascots will have the opportunity to meet the team and get a few autographs, then it's out on to the pitch to practice your skills. The mascot will be looked after by our Community Coach Ryan Craig, who will make sure they have a special day.
A MASCOT PACKAGE INCLUDES:
You will need to arrive at 1.00pm for a 3.00pm kick-off, and at 5.45pm for an evening game. Payment is required when you book, and mascots are also required to wear an SUFC kit. We will also need a photograph, information of age, school attended, hobbies and a score prediction for the programme. For more details call Ryan Craig on 07519 155087. Here at the Scunthorpe United CSET we run a number of projects that benefit the disabled community of North Lincolnshire. Our projects offer sporting activities to disabled people of all ages who otherwise may not get the opportunity. We also deliver youth clubs for disabled young people from the ages of 6 to 24 through our partnerships with local charity DAISY Lincs and North Lincolnshire council.
Additionally we operate the only fully inclusive FA Charter Standard disability football team in the area who play competitive football in the Linkage Lincolnshire Ability Counts Football League, the club has an under 16 and senior squad. As part of the club we run a Power-chair football team in partnership with Lincolnshire House a local residential home for individuals with Cerebral Palsy.

Disability On Target (ages 8 to 20) @ Bottesford Sports Hall - 4:00pm till 6:00pm

Over 40's Football
Our Over 40's Football sessions offer the chance for men over 40 to socialise with like-minded individuals while taking part in training and matches with others of similar ability.
Our Over 40’s football sessions have been running succesfully now for 6 years. Over this time the team has played matches against a number of teams including Liverpool, Tottenham, Barnsley and Derby. We currently deliver two sessions during the week, currently held at Premier Pitches. Times are as follows:
Mondays @ Premier Pitches - 5.30-7.00pm
Thursdays @ Premier Pitches - 10.30am-12 noon

As well as our Over 40's Footbal sessions we now offer a weekly Walking Football session aimed at helping those who may have left the sport get back into it as well as the opportunity for those who can no longer keep pace with the regular sport to still take part in and enjoy the sport while keeping fit and socialising with other walking footballers.
The team recently took part in their first competitive tournament at the Derby Soccerdome and will be competing at further regional events during 2016.
If you would like to take part in walking football we currently train every Wednesday at Melior Community College in the sports hall at 6.00-7.00pm.

Every school holiday we deliver children's soccer courses aimed at giving young people a safe, enjoyable place to take part in their favourite sport whilst also giving their parents
We offer courses to two different age groups as follows:
Both age groups will need: warm, waterproof clothing; shin pads; suitable footwear; drinks. Juniors will also need a packed lunch. No advanced booking is necessary, just turn up and pay on the day.
